Since 2017 

 

Research topic : Animal welfare, feed efficiency and precision feeding for sows and dairy cows. I'm analysing individual requirements variability, improving nutritonnal models, running experiments to collect individual data, proposing innovative feeding strategies. Improving novel technologies used in precision feeding is also part of my work: development of softwares analysing automatically the behavior (physical activity) of gestating sows from video recordings, learning strategies for a better use of the automatic feeders.

Supervizing : Bachelor, Master and PhD students, plus giving few lectures at Engineer schools of Agronomy (Rennes, Dijon, Bordeaux)

During this year as a research assistant I joined different projects in which I mainly analyzed data and wrote papers. As a result I learnt about many new topics of animal sciences:

I was also in charge of lectures in animal welfare and animal physiology. I participated to conferences to present results of my previous work and sows' results.
